Rest in Heaven Georgie Hernandez

Hello my name is Cynthia Contreras and I’m starting this GoFundMe Account for my nephew Georgie Hernandez who recently passed away. Most of you know that Georgie was born and raised in Gardena California, to his Father George Hernandez and his Mother Tammy Quiocho, along with his baby sister Moni, brother Jesus, Raymond and Danny Hernandez, as well as brother Danny Quiocho and Huero Macias. Georgie was very smart, tall and handsome. Georgie had the most beautiful smile that lit up the room. Georgie had a big huge heart and loved and respected his family and always held them up with lots of love and pride knowing he belonged to a strong family who stuck together no matter what. Georgie absolutely loved everyone in his family. Sparky and Tammy did the best they could raising him in the heart of LA, with the help of Sparky’s parents of course Mami and Papi, as well as some of his other family members including myself and Sammy whom Georgie lived with at one point and it was there that he gave his life to the Lord and excepted the Lord into his heart as his personal Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Georgie put on one of Sammys suits for church and was so excited to go to Victory Outreach Church and I took a picture of him in my home and he looked so handsome, and he knew it too. Georgie had lots of family and several cousins growing up. Georgie has a big beautiful family that loves him dearly including cousins Thomas and Jose Alvarez and many others cousins, to many to add. Georgie recently reunited with his future wife Maria and his daughter Selena and Son little Georgie Hernandez, and was able to be the father he long to be for so many years. Georgie was studying for his contractors license, and failed the first test, but kept on pushing to make it happen, cause he was determined to start his own business one day. So Georgie continued to study harder despite working six days a week, tiring and hard long hours at work and trying his best to provide for his family as the man he had become, with the hopes of one day moving out of where he had grown up. Yes Georgie ended up passing the second test and getting his license. Unfortunately, with the environment in which Georgie grew up in, he had no choice but to go back to the same neighborhood to live there temporarily. So being so close to the same neighborhood came chaos, and this chaos led to a shootout Friday night near his home, where he was shot twice in the head and had several operations to attempt to save Georgie’s life, however the last operation was not successful and he went on to be with the Lord Monday afternoon. Sadly leaving behind his future wife Maria and his children whom he loved so very much. As well as his mother Tammy and father Georgie and his grandpa Artemio (who was like his father as well.) also leaving behind his sister Moni and so many who loved him. Unfortunately this tragedy came unexpectedly and Maria being the main one left with the financial burden of having to now, not only burry the man she loved with all her heart, but now having to once again be the mother and father to their children without their father to grow up with. Our love and condolences to all of us that are hurting, grieving and broken-hearted, not understanding or being able to comprehend any of this madness. With this being said, I am asking all of us as a family, and family of family, and friends, and friends of friends, to please come along side Maria, the kids, and our family, and show your love and support by donating, blessing and sharing this GoFundMe page with everyone you know. Together let’s help raise the money for his funeral expenses along with being a blessing to his children, Selena and Georgie. The finances are going towards any funeral costs as well as for his children’s future education and personal needs that may arise due to the senseless death of this beautiful strong handsome young man. He will never walk his daughter down the isle and give her away on that special day, nor will he be able to take his son to watch the Green Bay Packers or the Lakers take the Championship or the Dodgers win. He will never be able to hang out with Maria or his sister or mom or dad or cousins or Tias or Tios or family and friends at car show or go to a movie or just chill on the Block. But I’ll tell you one thing, he will be able sing and dance, and boogie and walk on the streets of gold in Heaven, with Mami, Jaime and Sammy and so many of our loved ones who made it to heaven before us. He will be able to watch over us and help the Lord protect us for the rest of our lives and he will be our new guardian Angel and it don’t get any better than that amen So please help us ask God to bless Georgie’s family and open up the floodgates of heaven, and pour out a blessing upon his children that they will have no room to contain and that it may trickle down into the life of those around them and that they may never ever be without.
