Help bullied doctors get justice

SOS!!! Friends, we are an aggrieved cohort of doctors training to be GPs. Our fellowship exit exams were botched by the RACGP after IT failure in the mock exams raised concerns for need for a Plan B. The RACGP assured us it would be fine, but come exam day, their system crashed! At least 1,400 candidates stared at their screens in shock and horror. Worse, they had no Plan B. They charged $5,000 in round figures for these exams and had months to prepare, yet they failed us miserably.
We have student debt up to our necks, but we have persevered to serve our communities whilst suffering costly exam preparation. We have taken weeks of unpaid leave meaning more loss of income to prepare for these exams. We are impoverished doctors working on the COVID frontlines, risking life and limb, sacrificing time away from family and recreation to study for these archaic, costly exams that have no clinical relevance. Like athletes, we prepared months ahead to peak on exam day, and this is how the RACGP treats us. They continue to offer nothing but lip service and told us to see psychologists , adding insult to injury.

As of 20 Nov 2020, it's been over three weeks since the RACGP has received a letter from the GP Registrars but they have given nothing but the cold shoulder to us. This is their way of being a bully to further crush us when all we want is simply fair and equitable treatment. Further questionable practice by the RACGP has been bravely raised by this doctor on change .org regarding their clinical exams, which costs over $5,000 to sit.
This is Australia, there is such a thing as human rights and all such travesties must stop! But is has become so bad that we have had to ask the Prime Minister of New Zealand for help .
These GP registrars have worked as COVID frontliners, and continue to serve and protect their patients and communities. It is sad that the rights of such doctors must now go to court to be upheld.
