Yesterday, one of the most loving and supportive families that I have ever had the pleasure to meet suffered an incredible loss. Losing Mike, a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, the entire community has been greatly impacted. The Benedum family and their loved ones are doing everything that they can to group together to help each other process and cope with this tragedy and it is for this reason that I am asking anyone that has been touched by this family, as well as anyone who understands the extreme costs that are associated with a death in a family to help support them as they face numerous financial hurdles in the near future. If you have ever met Mike Benedum you know that he would give the shirt off his back to a complete stranger if they needed it. I hope that we will now be able to support the family with the same mindset.
