Lily and Bear

My dogs are 1 year old. The city I live in is trying to put them down simply because they have gotten out of the yard a few times. They are very sweet and very smart! I couldn't figure out how they were escaping. I finally learned they were opening the latch on our gate! They have never harmed anyone and I think it is extremely unfair for the city to try to take them from me and have them killed! I was served with court papers 6 days before the court date. They want to impound my dogs until my citations are disposed. Court for the citations is in early January. Any dog in impound longer than ten days is killed. I haven't been able to come up with the money to keep my dogs on such short notice. I'm begging all animal lovers or anyone with a heart to please help! I've had these two since birth and they sleep in my bed with me every night. Please help my family stay together!
