Todd Corum needs rehabilitation
Donation protected
So that everyone contributing to Todd's rehabilitation is clear how this gofundme account was set up. I (Sharon Deinlein, nee Corum) Todd's Aunt and Richard Craig Corum's (Craig) sister set up this account on Todd's behalf for my brother and nephew.
All withdrawls from this account will be made by Richard Craig Corum (Craig) on Todd's behalf.
From Todds parents Craig and Sonya:
Our son Todd Corum, was involved in a near fatal motorcycle accident on Sunday, May 29, 2016. He is curently at University of Maryland Shock Trauma and will be there for some time. All four limbs had mulitple fractures. His ribs, both femurs, both wrists and his facial orbital bones were all broken.
Both of his lungs collapsed and his kidney was perforated. His head neck and spine were spared.
He is on a ventilator. Many months of re-hab will be required as long as he makes it through the initial hours of surgery.
Please help us work towards our sons recovery.
May God Bless us all, and keep Todd in your payers.
Update (06/06/16) from Todds parents Craig and Sonya:
Praise be to the Lord God Almighty!! Todd has cleared both marathon surgeries, sixteen hours in all with three surgeons working different areas at the same time. He has been removed from the ventilator and most of his wound site pumps have been withdrawn as well as his chest drain tubes. They are planning to move him out of the ICU today and into the acute care wing here. If he continues progressing as he has, the next step is rehabilitation here at shock trauma and then to be moved to Kernan Hospital. Todd has at least six months of rehab ahead of him, but his spirits are high and still has that contagious smile. Thank you for your prayers and support. To God be the glory!
