Chuck Violissi and family road to recovery

Hi everyone. My name is Robby Violissi, and I wanted to make this fund for the healing of my family and strength for my mother. Like many others, my family is facing a lot of challenges during these times of Covid covering bills and taking care of finances while dealing with the amounts of stress. My dad works as a food/service distributer so it’s been tough. Yesterday afternoon, as my dad was climbing a tree stand he lost his footing and fell 15-20 ft off. Luckily, he landed on his back, its a miracle he is alive. It took almost 2 and a half hours for him to get taken out of the woods, he was unable to move, he was airlifted to Boston and that was the last time I saw him. It was very scary.

I know a lot of you care about Chuck, are concerned with his well-being and after over 24 hours of no sleep I decided it was time to let everyone know because results were coming back slowly. As of now his vertibre is broken as well as other internal issues going on. In short, he will not be able to do most of the things he is used to be doing again, so this healing process is going to be very long. It will be up to him for a full recovery and I want to make sure the financial stress he endeavors will not negatively affect his healing. If anyone would even donate 1$ to support this healing process, it would go ways you wouldn’t believe because I know there’s so many of you who know Chuck and care for him. These donations mean so much to my family and when you donate just know the family you’re helping is so connected with this community and cares for many people in it.

For those of you who don’t know Chuck, my dad is one of the most amazing guys you’d ever meet. It’s a blessing to get close to him and I’m lucky to call him my dad. He literally does it all, he’s passionate about so many things in life and has inspired me and many others to be the same way. He has such a big heart and has battled through adversity his whole life. These next couple years are going to be the most challenging years of my dads life and I’m lucky to say that he’s in the hospital alive. There is one concern and they have not yet proceeded yet with surgery or physical therapy treatment because his stomach continues to grow in size and they need to make sure there’s no internal issues so I will update this feed when I know for sure. He is currently in a lot of pain and in the hospital.

Lastly, I wanted to address where these funds will be going because the main reason I’m setting this fund up is the uncovered medical expenses. On top of possible surgery, physical therapy for a life changing amount of time, and the emotional healing of my family. Please keep my father in your prayers.
