Hi Everyone,

 

My name is Greg, and I am Abby's cousin. Recently Abby Camargo was in a tragic snowboarding accident while on school vacation where she landed on her back and has endured some severe trauma towards her spine. She burst her L1 disc in her back and has some nerve damage as well as a broken vertebrate.

 

Abby has undergone corrective surgery and is facing a lot of rehabilitation ahead of her. Doctors have put a nine and a half inch rod to help stabilize and fuse her spine. She is currently in the PICU for the foreseeable future, where she will then will be moved home to recover for an additional few months. We are all thankful that she had the top care and support that she needs at this time. The cost towards this procedure and rehabilitation is certainly astronomical towards Abby and her family. All donations are beyond helpful and will go towards paying Abby's medical expenses.
