Hi… my name is Blu

I’m just a little 2 years old pup and I need a bit of help right now

I’m very anemic, and today I’m going through my second blood transfusion because my body isn’t making enough healthy blood on its own. The doctors are still trying to figure out why. We’re waiting on two important lab tests one from Tennessee and one from North Carolina to help them understand what’s going on inside me and how to make me better.

This is my third night away from my family at the emergency hospital. I miss my home, my bed, and my people so much. They come see me when they can, but it’s hard being apart, especially when I don’t feel very good.

My owner has been doing everything possible to help me, but the hospital stays, tests, and transfusions have become very expensive. If you’re able to help at all, it would mean the world to both of us. Any donation no matter the amount helps, and even sharing my story and the link with others is a huge act of kindness. He is the sweetest, most loyal dog in the whole wide world. Blu has been my comfort on hard days, my joy on good ones, and my little shadow everywhere I go. He has the kindest soul and the biggest heart, and anyone who has met him knows how special he truly is. On January 7, 2026 I had to take Blu to the vet and unfortunately he is anemic at the moment due to a few possibilities that are being tested but we won’t know for sure until tomorrow. Unfortunately, because his red blood cell count is extremely low they are going to have to keep him there for about 72 hours and he is currently getting a blood transfusion. As of today I had to pay about 11k (which the breakdown of everything will be provided below) and depending on his diagnosis it will be more than 11k which is far beyond what I am able to afford so I am reaching out for help for my little guy!
