At 6 AM, Wednesday, Sophia and Saylor came running into Tom and Molly's room screaming that there was water in the house downstairs. The water receded and rose again around 11 AM.
Tom and Molly Schubert got over 3 inches of water flooding their house and closer to 6 inches in their lower lying, newly built studio in this week's flash floods. All of the flooring downstairs has to be ripped up and replaced, sheetrock, drywall, door and two window frames have to be replaced. Unknowingly, their flood insurance had lapsed without notification.
