My name is Gilbert Tabares Jr. The Tabares family consist of me, and my siblings Denise, Valerie, Ricky, Steve and Rudy. Our mother Ida Tabares and our father have been married for 44 years. We are setting up this funeral fund for our Father Gilbert Tabares Sr. Our father was diagnosed with decompensated cirrhosis of the liver. After a long hard fought battle his condition is now terminal. We were initially told he had a year left to live. But in only 3 weeks he was put in hospice care. We were told by the hospice nurse this morning that he may have a week left until he passes on. We were not prepared for this, we wish we had more time. We need help to insure that our father has a decent funeral, he deserves one. Our father has worked hard all his life in oil field to raise a family of six. Through all the hard times life threw at him and our mother he was always there for his children and grandchildren. Now at the age of 61 he has lost his independence and needs to be cared for twenty-four hours a day with the assistance of Hospice. My father’s tough life an unexpected health issues disabled him from working again. Not being able to work was so hard on our father because he hated not being able to take care of his family. Our family really needs your support, please help us ensure we can give him a proper burial. We would appreciate any assistance you can provide, it will be greatly appreciated.
