Transport for Tracy (Tyson) O'Brien

Hi.My name is Lisa Anderson. My friend Tracy (Tyson) O’Brien was diagnosed about 2 years ago with ALS which is a terminal disease for which there is no cure or approved treatment for. Life expectancy is 2-5 years post diagnosis.

Tracy is a lifelong resident of our community always supporting/helping others. She has been fighting this disease along with being a fierce advocate for ALS treatments. She is a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She is also raising two of her grandsons who are 11 and 8 years old.

The disease has now progressed to Tracy being in a power chair for mobility most of the time. She can no longer use her own vehicle for transport to appointments, kids school, recreation,or socialization and maintain her independence as much as possible.She is in need of a handicap accessible van so she can be able to be out in the community, volunteer, see family and friends and have a better quality of life. Together with the help of family, friends and our Superior Senior High Reunion club members we can accomplish this for her. A van will cost approximately 15,000 used and any other funds would be used for other non-covered expenses that will arise. Thank you everyone!!!
