Caring for Erin Adair
Donation protected
My niece, Erin, is the most beautiful, sweet, and brave 17 year old. She has a rare chromosome deletion 1q44 which has caused her many medical issues. This has resulted in heart surgeries, colostomy, seizures and the list continues. She has been in the hospital for weeks. Today the cardiologist told her mom she may need a pacemaker. Something is not working between her heart communicating with her brain. She had a device (VNS) implanted earlier this year to help control her seizures. However, they are still breaking through. She is having close to 100 seizures a day and the doctors are running out of medicines to try. Normally we would only ask for prayers, but Erin and her family are not just dealing with Erin’s health, but also financial trouble. Erin’s mom is a single mom and the sole provider. She is self employed and owns a home remodeling company. Being self employed allows her mom to have the flexibility to be there when Erin needs her, but it also means when she doesn’t work she doesn’t get paid. Any type of donation to help them would be greatly appreciated. If you can’t donate at this time, please share. Thank you for taking the time to ready Erin’s story.
