Hey everybody, i wasn’t wanting to do this kinda thing , unfortunately it’s a very rough time for are little family of 3 then went to 5 real quick . born at 27 weeks at grand river hospital in kitchener. i took my first winter off doing snow removal to spend some time with my beautiful

little girl, also my wife was struggling with morning sickness ( it’s all day ) so she had to come off work at about 9 weeks in. I was going back to work for middle off march as i was on Ei not alot but kept the food on the table . lots of pasta let’s just say that . normal everyday routine get the daughter off to daycare but my wife in started feeling in more pain the. usual so told her i’ll drop you off at the hospital then go drop off my daughter at day care . well wouldn’t you guess i got a call as i’m leaving daycare that i’m fully dilated and they gotta do an emergency C section .. ummm umm okay!! im coming. let’s just say only thing that slowed me down was red lights and that was a struggle not just fly through them . finally get to hospital of course only spots available the very very top from of the parking garage . park jump down 6 flights of stairs ( not sure how i didn’t break and ankle . it was like in the movies i’m sprinting down the hallways nurse says are you the twins dad ? i’m like yes yes so she starts sprinting with me calling people to open all door i fly in gotta wash quick gown on. Nurse says i don’t think they have come out yet you made it . i walk in .. wife opened stuff everywhere.. wife starts crying when she sees me, then i look to my Right and there a little baby with idk 6 nurses at least doing Cpr . “Baby A unresponsive “” “keep going keep going “ i sit down like holy smokes my brain didn’t even have time to process what’s going on yet . anyhow then second baby B came out,
breathing thank goodness, then i finally i hear baby A has pulse . then i just break down guessing just in massive relief. Beckett (Baby B) Braxton(Baby A)
2.3lbs(B)and 2.1 Lbs (A). long story they didn’t have a bed for my wife to be transferred 1 hour away to MacMaster Children’s Hospital. i saw the babies and my wife didn’t get to see them at all. that hurt her cause one second they were kicking and she was playing with them inside her belly next they are gone but no babies in her arms. it was sad moment for her i could tell. 24 hours later trying to plan how are broke unemployed butts are gunna now live in hamilton and keep are life going in town . unfortunately still gotta pay are bills at are small 2 bedroom apartment. lucky there are systems set in place depending on your situation that can help you with living accommodations in Hamilton. (RMH) Ronald Mcdonald house. luckily they finally got us a room about 36 hours after babies were born . already in hamilton of course . it’s small fee every night but cheaper then a hotel that’s for sure and i could barely afford the gas to get to hamilton let alone 1 night in a hotel. estimate time at sick kids 3 months. then still gotta keep in my daughters normal daycare schedule and routine . 1 week later wife gets checked out and has 2 infections in her 6insh deep 8 wide probably (estimated) so next thing you know my wife and twins are in hospital at mcmaster . i’m and off for couple weeks. they are officially 3 weeks old, as i'm describing . i’m staying on weekends with the daughter then weeks home so i can take her to daycare and try and stay in routine. well let’s just say went from strict 7-7:30 bed time to screaming having full out meltdowns and we are lucky if it’s 11 pm now. also my daughter just turned 2 yesterday April 2nd . she’s very confused where’s mom and where my babies . from mommies belly go. anyhow Braxton is the one with more issues because you was unresponsive, then Beckett very healthy boy. well randomly Head doctor says we are gunna move Beckett back to grand river . i said no your not , not yet anything could happen and if something does i won’t go down till i get every penny from that hospital if my wife or kids don’t make to though . well one day later, we get call just after midnight saying Becketts left lung collapsed and he had to be put in a incubator. . and they wanted to send him back ! let’s just say we got lucky or better off they got lucky ! so that’s about where we are at now . all we need is thoughts and positive vibes
Thank you
