Baby Benny's Belly

For those of you who I didn't cry to yet about Benny Boo and possibly don't know, our baby Ben had to go for surgery today to fix a perforation in his bowel and remove a portion of necrotic bowel after a couple days of lethargic behavior and vomiting .

We're not 100% sure what the culprit was that caused the damage nor do we know if this was an issue building up over time. What we do know is unfortunately Benny will be at the vet until Monday and even then we're not sure if he can come home to us yet. Of course we're devastated, but what also is so upsetting is Benny's enormous vet bill that we aren't sure yet how we'll cover due to Derek not working. We know the bill will be well over $1500, and we don't expect to raise that, but any small donation for our baby is so appreciated.

We're hoping for the speediest recovery and just want our baby home :(
