Bridging Stages Opening Performance

Bridging Stages is a group founded by and run by Chicago high school students. We share a passion for theater and the youth of Chicago, and would like to unite the two. We are well aware that there are many underserved schools around our city that do not get exposure to the arts at all - much less theater. We know how inspiring theater can be, and we want to make sure our peers get to experience the same. Our plan is to raise money over the summer via our own performances at small venues in order to fund at least one elementary school class at an elementary school that lacks the resources to have an arts/theater program to go on a field trip to a Chicago Broadway performance. The $1500 we are hoping to raise by June 25th will fund our first small performance. This small sum of money will be the start of something that will have a huge impact, and every donation we receive helps us greatly, and we thank every one of you in advace for helping support our dream and our devotion to the underprivileged youth of Chicago.
