Manley Stockton

Manley Stockton, father, husband to artist Elizabeth (Niles) Stockton, writer and realtor in Atlanta, Georgia, has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a treatable but incurable form of cancer that will require ongoing treatment in order to achieve and remain in remission.  Manley has begun his first treatments and is doing well—but we are asking for help to prepare the family for long-term treatments.

Unfortunately, the generic form of one of the key therapies for Multiple Myeloma (Revlimid) will not become available until 2026 and it is a vital element of fighting this cancer—and one which Manley will have to take for the rest of his life.  Eventually, a Stem Cell Transplant will be part of Manley's therapy.  This will require multiple months of home recovery without the ability to work.  As you know, being a realtor means self-employment even when associated with a realty office, and thus the family will be out of income for some months at a stretch.

All this said, if you are able to contribute, the family is abundantly grateful. Any little bit will help as we all enter 2021 with a hopeful, positive attitude and tons of support for Manley to manage this condition and continue to thrive and live life to its fullest with family and friends around him.

Thank you for your kindness.
