Friends, 

our former colleague Andrew K., a HW engineer with Meta since the very early days in the Portola mansion, is presently living extremely difficult conditions and does not have a job.

I am voicing the concern that many of us have raised in the last few days and setting up a fundraising campaign that, in Andrew's own words, would at least mitigate the pressing needs of Andrew's family who have a "mortgage to pay and medical expenses" from a chronic severe condition of one of Andrew's closest relatives. 

Any amount you guys can contribute with, no matter how small, will be an immediate practical support and will secondarily make Andrew feel somebody is close to him in these very challenging times.

We lived an incredible journey together and I believe  that united us for good with an invisible, very strong tie. This is a time when we should reunite and get together for one of our fellows in trouble.

Andrew is grateful already :)
