Water Well in Pakistan in memory of Abid Amin
Donation protected
As salaamu’alaykum wa rahmatullah wabarakaatuh.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
A treasured member of the Cardiff community, Brother Abid Amin recently returned to Allah SWT with Covid-19, leaving behind his wife and children.
Brother Abid was always supportive with his time and wealth of the local community including the mosques and Muslim schools. May Allah ta’ala accept him as a martyr, grant him the highest level of paradise, comfort his loved ones and reunite them in Jannatul Firdaus.
Inspired by Brother Abid’s kindness and generosity, we would like to take this opportunity to fundraise for a hifdh sponsorship program as this was a very close cause to Brother Abid, as well as to build a community well in his native Pakistan as a sadaqah jariyah for him and his family.
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Seven deeds of a servant continue to be rewarded after his death while he is in his grave: knowledge to be learned, constructing a canal, digging a well, planting a date-palm tree, building a mosque, handing down a written copy of the Quran, and leaving a righteous child who seeks forgiveness for him after his death.” (Sahih)
We pray that Allah Ash-Shakoor accept this as a sadaqa jariyah for Brother Abad and his family and that He Al-Wahhaab magnify your reward for your kindness, support and generosity.
The money will be donated via UWT for these amazing sadaqah jariyah causes. More info can be found on their website.
