My name is Thomas Tookey. I was diagnosed with an incurable and very rare blood cancer called Multiple Myeloma in late Sept. of 2015. I worked for an excellent outfit and made $11000/month. I have been bedridden since diagnosis. I have a 14 yr. old daughter (Lilly), and my wife Kim for whom I am the primary source of income. I'm trying to cover my medical bills and restore my wiped out savings. My cancer treatment has shown great progress but the disease has destroyed some of my bone tissue. Especially in my back. This is my last Hail Mary pass to try to avoid being destroyed by bankruptcy and being passed over to county and state programs which are very meager and not enough to survive. Those programs one should not consume their precious resources if at all possible. The family is now seperated due to physical/financial want. The trauma and fear of the initial diagnosis has given way to a very saddened state of loneliness and want. Even still, we always endeavor to keep a positive attitude. Your donations provide material support for my medical treatments and feeding and housing my family (who are caretaking me while I've been ill).
