Help Small Business Nail Salon Survive Pandemic

We need help! Hello, We are a mother and daughter owned and operated small business nail salon called Exquisite Nails located in Copiague, Long Island. A little history about us, We opened our doors January, 2020 and due to the pandemic like most non-essential small businesses we were mandated to close from March until July of 2020.  Since the shutdown we have applied for multiple loans and grants. However, we were denied each time because of our short time in business.  Due to these denials and pandemic restrictions we had to restructure our business model from having employees to renting out technician tables which has delayed our ability to meet our bills. These include Back Rent/Rent, Accounting fees, Utility bills, Insurance costs, and products. Much of our product line has a shelf life of only 3 months. Materials needed to maintain social distancing in our salon and extensive pandemic upgrades were necessary to comply with NYS regulations. We must have materials to sanitize, keep social distancing, and provide a safe environment to the independent contractor(s) and all of our clients. Due to this extreme hardship, we are asking for help due to the lack of funding to keep our business open and prevent us from permanently closing. We are so proud of our business and love providing job opportunities and services to our community. We would love to keep our doors open but just need help!
