Our mom, Ineke Slaby has passed away at the age of 59 after her battle with cervical cancer. She was a loving mother, sister and aunt. She leaves behind 5 children, 5 grandchildren, a brother, a sister, nieces and nephews and  her friends. 

In 2013 she was diagnosed with stage 3b cervical cancer. She pursued chemotherapy  and radiation treatment and went into remission in 2014. After beating cancer she was excited for her second chance at life and enjoyed spending most of her time with her kids and grandkids.

While spending time with us here in Simi around Christmas of 2015 she found out that cancer had returned and had aggresively spread throughout her body. After continuing her fight with cancer she left this world on May 27th surrounded by all her family. Although her time with us was not long enough we find comfort in the fact that she is no longer in pain and is with our brother, her son, Johnny. And her mother, our Oma, Doris. 

We have made a decision together to ask for your support in this time of grief to help raise money for the costs  of our mothers funeral arrangements. 

Any money raised above the expenses of her services will be donatedto the Womens Cervical Cancer Society of America.
