Hello Friends,

I am finding myself in a difficult position with my two beloved dogs, who have been been faced with recent and unexpected health emergencies. As you all know, my dogs mean the world to me and I now have two very ill dogs. Unexpectedly, Niko ingested an advacado that caused him a debilitating gastrointestinal blockage that resulted in many appointments to get him to clear his GI tract. He has lost over 4 pounds, which is alot for his size.In the meantime, while he was examined it was obvious that he had been also having an issue with his teeth that had been cleaned by another office.
After this visit, Niko's health was declining rapidly from his loss of appetite and painful bite. I have been focusing on his diet and medications including cooking all his meals on a daily basis. I am working on building up Niko's body weight since he will require and additional surgery to extract a cracked molar that became infected after seeing a previous office, that failed to treat his dental situation properly. In addtion to caring for Niko, I discovered that Kopi (my Dachshund) injured his back at home. I had to take him in and he required a complete examination including pain and anti-inflamatory medications. For these reasons, the  funds I receive will be greatly appreciated to help my dogs growing vet costs.
