Help Johnny on his Road to Recovery

Hi, my name is Johnny Martinez, I turned 30 years old on 06/06/2016.  I suffered a brain injury (TBI) on March 18, 2008. It has left me with only two disabilities, I can't talk and I can't walk.  My mom, Janie, is helping me reach out to you so that I can get your financial help to receive  STEM CELL TREATMENT that will help my brain connect with my muscles so that I can again learn to talk and walk.
Hi, I'm Janie, my son was in a horrific automobile accident on March 18, 2008.  He was in a very old pickup which although it had a lap seat belt it didn't have a harness belt which would have made a whole lot of difference.  The pickup hit a train control metal box, caused the bed to detach and the cabin rolled and because he had the lap seat belt on, it saved him from getting ejected, but the absence of the chest harness belt caused my son to hit his head on the dash board and sustain head trauma. It left him in a coma for several months.
When we were at the hospital, thereafter his accident, doctors were saying he would probably not make it through the first 24 hours, then the first 72 hours and when he did, then we were recommended that we agree to pull off the machine that was keeping him alive -  the whole family put in a tiny depressing little room being told that my son would be a total vegetable for the rest of his life.  As we sat there, I immediately remembered that when he was getting ready to go back to his second year of College, he told me, "mom I've been thinking about death" I responded "We're all going to die someday." he then said "No mom, this is different, but I want you to know that if something ever happens to me, I am going to fight it".  Well something did happen to him. Almost 7 months later and that memory flashed into my mind almost sounding like a text or email effect and at that point I decided not to pull the plug.
The doctors said there was nothing surgically they could help him for his brain injury - the only surgery that was done was to put his right eye back into the socket. The impact had fractured his socket, forced his right eye out which was sitting on his upper right cheek - the surgery was 12 hours. They had to pull brain tissue out that had moved into his socket, repair the fracture and put his eye back in.
Two months later we were discharged to a Subacute Nursing Center, with a diagnosis of "Vegetative State". After 7 months, my son woke up from his coma and several weeks later was tracking with his eyes.
The struggle then began with the doctors and insurance company to get physical and speech therapy because my son was non responsive. Well I was very stubborn and went outside of the facility in hiring people to work on my son to include a massage therapist, who helped tremendously with this contracted right arm and right leg. A speech therapist specialized in tracheostomy tube, who taught him to breath without the need of the tracheostomy tube and upon the removal of it, the feeding tube was removed and YES!!! my son then was able to enjoy eating and isn't eating one of the best enjoyments in life!!!
We continued to pay for many other therapies, water therapy, standing machine (which is what my son is using in the above photo), hyperbaric oxygen, etc. and accomplished graduating from the bed to a reclining chair to a wheelchair and he learned to wheel himself. The large range of therapies that we paid for has helped him tremendously, but my son has yet to talk and walk.
Two years ago, we brought my son home, in the hopes that he would improve by being with family but in all realty he needs to improve a greater amount so that he is released from being trapped within himself.
We recently learned from a young couple whose young child received  Stem Cell Treatment done in a hospital in Mexico.  I made contact with the hospital and upon their review of my son's medical file, we have been informed that my son is a candidate for this treatment -  sooo very excited!!!  Unfortunately, there's a cost that cannot be paid in payments and this is why, we're reaching out to you, to help us raise the $19,800.00 that we need for my son to receive the Stem Cell treatment.
Although, my son can't talk, he does have a level of understanding that he acknowledges with nodding his head to a yes or a no.  I told him about this treatment that can help his brain connect with his muscles and asked if he wished to do it and he looked at me and nodded yes and gave a big smile.
I've written a lot but in reality, I could actually write a book!!
Please, I ask you with all my heart to help me help my son. Every donation counts to add up to what we need. So, please help my son have a better quality of life.
Thank you.
