26th Birthday: Send Jacky to Langkawi

Hi everybody!

My name’s Jacky! I turn 26 on the 23rd of January. For my birthday this year, I have a really special request.

If anyone knows me, they know that my platonic soulmate, my best friend, my ride or die, my sister from another mister is Cecilia aka CC.

CC recently just lost her father. He passed away last night. Obviously this is quite a sudden death and I’d like to request - anyone contributing or reading this GoFundMe and has contact with CC, please refrain from reaching out or sending condolences to her and her family until she’s personally shared it herself. Please ask me before you share anything as I do not want this GoFundMe shared public anywhere else without my knowledge. I want to keep this under wraps as much as possible so it’ll be a warm, soft-hearted surprise for her during this difficult time.

CC has been my best friend for what is about to be our 9th year. In the past, she was there when my grandfather passed away, attended his funeral and held me up during those low times. Literally, a few months ago, I was experiencing tremendous grief, heartache and guilt over the loss of many friends and a love I cared about and she was there everyday for me. She slept in bed every single day with me until I healed.

I’d want nothing more than to be there for her during this tough time and to reciprocate but as this is quite a sudden turn of events, I need assistance with funding the flights to get to Langkawi and back. I’d be there for no more than 5-7 days. I’m hoping to leave around the 20th.

I’m not asking for a lot. Anyone can contribute up to any amount, whether it’s $20, $5, $50, $60 etc. and if we don’t reach the goal - I’ll pay the remaining amount alone.
