Hello everyone! This page is a SECRET fundraising event for Lori Vaterlaus. PLEASE DO NOT MENTION IT TO DAD OR MOM. If you received this link it's because you are considered friend/family to my Mom and know she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer in January of 2015. After over a year of 2 different failed chemotherapy treatment plans, she is coming to the realization that growing old with Dad and enjoying their retirement plans together may not happen. This is devastating for them. I have never known of a more loving couple. We are SECRETLY going to try and help them enjoy one of their biggest bucket list items of owning a Vintage Travel Trailer for some camping in Snow Canyon, Zions and all the beautiful parks they live by. Mom has a whole Pinterest board devoted to "vintage travel trailer" ideas ( the attached photo is a screen shot of her board and the kind she wants). This is something they have talked about for years. I'm looking at used travel trailers on Craigslist and there are 2 amazing options currently( and always more being posted). Depending on how fast we could raise the money I would purchase one for them and deliver it with a card with everyone's name that has donated ( no matter the amount). We are doing it this way so it is truly a no stress gift, and they don't have to worry about shopping around for a trailer while moms getting further testing and Dads busy working. The amount seems to range from $3,000-$4,500 for a small vintage travel trailer. If we don't meet our goal we will purchase some camping accessories for them and just give them the cash as a savings we have started for them to maybe help them get one. They are not the kind of people to ask for help, they feel so blessed already, but this is something we are hoping to be able to do for them!
