Dough for Doug

Doug and his wife Renate have faithfully served as missionaries in Brazil for over 25 years. In March they felt that God was calling them to a new field and prepared to head to Cleveland, Ohio. Here they would take on a new job serving the Lord in the financial area of the mission. Shortly after deciding to follow this new calling, Doug began to feel ill. After going to the doctors they found he had a mass on his pancreas. He was directed to go to the Cleveland Clinic for further examination. After various testing they diagnosed him with pancreatic cancer. As of right now surgery has been ruled out as an option and they will be pursuing other methods of treatment. As you can imagine these treatments will come at a great cost physically, mentally, and financially. We have set this page up to ask for both prayer and financial donations to help Doug and his family through the difficulties of cancer treatments.
