Solutions for Honduras LLC- Hurricane Eta and Iota
Donation protected
From Wednesday to Thursday, November 4-5, Hurricane Eta ravaged Honduras, bringing heavy flooding, extensive damage, and mudslides. Specifically, the areas of San Pedro Sula and La Lima experienced major damages from the storm. The desire for basic supplies in the forms of nonperishable food, clothes, and personal protective equipment has only been exacerbated by this storm, with tremendous need from the COVID-19 pandemic already being an existential problem. This aid will be distributed to people in need with the help of Familias Solidarias de Honduras

As Hurricane Iota nears the costs of Honduras, the country prepares for a second hurricane of category 4 strength or higher in the last week. The damage caused by this category 5 storm will be extensive, and only worsen the condition of many in Honduras, especially in the previously hard-hit regions. We will be providing more updates on the Eta/Iota situation in Honduras, and how everyone can come together to help repair the tragic damages caused by the two storms.
