Baby Liza

Sweet Liza June Cushing was born February 22nd. Liza was born with Gastrochsis. As a result of further complications a surgery was performed removing 90% of her intestines. The past 18 days at Henrietta Egleston Hospital for Children have been so hard on her parents Micah and Mandie Cushing, as well as her proud older brothers and sisters Briar (9), Aubrie (8),Easton (6), and Raylen (6). We are all praying for Liza to eventually come home so they can be a family of 7 but until then Mandie and Micah are staying by her side. Micah has always worked hard to provide for his family, whether it’s as a fireman for the Covington fire department or his side construction business Georgia Boy. Our hope in creating this page is to give people an opportunity to donate monetarily to help alleviate any current financial worry.  A diagnosis of Gastrochsis will include future surgeries for Liza. We are asking everyone to stand strong in prayer for this sweet family as they endure the hardships of being away from their 4 children at home and for Liza’s improvement.
