10 years ago, I lost my father to Non-Small Cell lung cancer which had metastasized to his brain. This was the second time he had been diagnosed with cancer. Although he was lucky enough to live 8 more years after the first diagnosis, this time he wasn't as lucky.

This June, he would have celebrated his 85th birthday. I am doing the American Cancer Society 5 Miles in May Swim Challenge in my father's memory
