Help to save little Emili

Please, help us save the life of beautiful little Emili! Without your help she will remain in a vegetative state for the rest of her life! But there is a hope if we act swiftly, while her brain is still developing.
My name is Alexei Basarab, I am pleading with you on behalf of Daniel and Iryna Rybin and their little baby daughter Emili. I know Daniel for many years since I was his first pastor in Ukraine. I recently visited them in their Kyiv apartment, as you can see in the attached pictures, and witnessed their situation and heard the story in their own words. All proceeds from this fundraising will benefit Emili's recovery.
When Emili was conceived, no one could imagine what kind of hardships this family would face because of COVID-19 situation. Below is the story as it was told to me by Daniel.
As a young family from Ukraine, we were not in hurry to have children because of a hard living in our country. We dreamed of giving our child better childhood than we had. Especially it is not easy to plan something in a country that has been in a war for 7 years. But we worked hard and created a family business that brought us stable income (we are musicians and our business is about equipment for stages and show programs).
Finally we were ready to have a baby, got pregnant and expected her to be born in the spring of 2020. We, as parents, didn't have bad habits and always led healthy lifestyle. And our baby developed just perfectly. There were no problems during the whole pregnancy. But, unfortunately, when the time came to give birth, the quarantine associated with Covid-19 was declared in ourcountry. During this period, partner childbirth and even spousal visits to the hospital were impossible.
This probably influenced the attitude and work of midwives. Can you imagine this: wife had to call her husband asking him to call the hospital and persuade someone to come to see her in a delivery room and at least do something to relieve her pain. The doctors simply ignored my wife! The entire period of labor dragged on for 15 hours, 11 hours after her water broke. As a result, the doctors forced the child out. During that time it was found that she had a double wrap of the cord around her neck. And unfortunately, our little daughter Emili did not breathe on her own and spent several minutes without air at all. The child was resuscitated and hooked up to a ventilator. Emili spent 27 days in intensive care all alone, only the first five days her mother could visit her. Due to the quarantine, we could not visit our newborn child! We have been praying all that time that our daughter survive, wake up and breathe on her own. But if was just the beginning of our problems. Our daughter's brain was seriously damaged due to oxygen starvation and edema. A month later, our child was able to breathe and doctors allowed her to be taken home. The baby could not eat and had minor cramps. At 1.5 months, Emily started symptoms of epilepsy and cerebral palsy. Epileptic seizures hold down her body, there are so many spasms that the child does not have time to develop at all. She constantly is in a tense state. With each attack, the smallest skills that she acquire with such difficulty are destroyed and we have to learn elementary things again . We tried to treat this disease in local clinics, but unfortunately medicine in our country is very limited as is the professionalism of our doctors and equipment. According to our doctors, there are only 3 drugs to eliminate seizures for children of such young age. We tried all three with no result.
It is still possible to restore our girl! We keep looking for an opportunity to save the health of our child! We found a clinic in Berlin that can help us, but the cost of treatment is 25,000 euro (excluding the cost of flights and accommodation for several months). Also, when we will overcome seizures, we need to start a rehabilitation course (teach a child to eat independently, roll over, crawl, walk and other functions that are available to other children). We found a rehabilitation center that can take care of a child with such severe brain injuries at the lowest cost. But it is in Poland and the price of a three-week course is 3000 Euro (we do not yet know how many such courses we have to take).
And we also found an institute that teaches parents how to properly deal with special children on a daily basis in order to achieve maximum results. This is the method of American physician Glenn Doman. They have distance learning, which costs $2500.
It is critical to treat Emili as soon as possible, because children under one year of age have very plastic brain and healthy cells will be able to take over the functions of the lost ones. She is already six months old, so we need to hurry to save child's health.
With great faith and hope, we are waiting for the opportunity to start treatment in clinics where they can help us, but there is no financial opportunity to start at least the first step in this long vital path.
We don't have that kind of money. Covid-19 practically brought business income to zero. We already used all of the funds for our child's healthcare, but unfortunately our funds were not enough and that's why we are asking for your help.
If you have the opportunity and desire in your heart to help our family at this difficult time, we will be immensely grateful for any help! Also, we are very grateful for your prayers. I believe that together we can do a lot and God can do His miracle!
