Life can be unpredictable, and right now, our dear friends Javi and Luis and their family are facing an incredibly tough time.
We're coming together as a familia to offer them the support they need to get back on their feet. Let's show them they're not alone and some love - because in times of hardship, kindness and generosity can truly change everything.
Thank you for your support.
Javi and Luis letter:
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts as we face one of the most difficult moments of our lives. Our beloved father has been battling lung cancer since 2016, and we have now been given the heartbreaking news that he has only three weeks left to live.
With his mobility severely limited, he relies on us for daily care and support. To be by his side and help our mother through this painful time, my brother and I have traveled back to our hometown of Madrid, Spain.
As musicians and educators, we rely entirely on our work for income—without work, we have no financial support. At the same time, we are also responsible for our own families. This situation has left us in an incredibly difficult position, making it nearly impossible to cover essential expenses such as rent, bills, travel, and now, the unexpected costs of saying goodbye. Our parents live on a modest retirement pension that is not enough to sustain them through this crisis.
We are humbly asking for your help to raise $20,000 to allow us to remain with our father in his final days and support our mother.
Your generosity will help us with:
✅ Rent and essential bills
✅ Travel expenses to and from Madrid
✅ Day-to-day costs while we are unable to work
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a tremendous difference in ensuring we can be there for our family when they need us the most. If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean the world to us.
Thank you for your kindness, love, and support during this incredibly painful time. We are deeply grateful.
With love and gratitude,
Javi & Luis
