Mary is a 7th grader at the Hibbing High School. She loves animals! She enjoys dancing, tumbling, and spending time outside. She likes riding bikes, swimming, and camping in the summers with her 3 younger sisters(Ireland, Ellyza,& Wren). She loves spending time with her 2 dogs(Luna & Lassie) and 2 cats(Kitten & Miss Kitka). On Sunday, November 1st we rushed Mary to the Hibbing Emergency Room around 4:00 PM. The Doctors ran every test they could think of trying to figure out what was wrong with Mary. They did a scan of her brain and found a bleed. The helicopter crew arrived to get her all hooked up, packed up, and ready to go. We flew out of Hibbing on Life Link III around 7:00 PM and arrived at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis around 8:00 PM. It was a windy night so it took twice as long as normal to make the trip. Once we arrived in Minneapolis Mary was taken quickly into surgery to have a drain put in her skull to help relieve the intracranial pressure. She returned to her hospital room at Children's in stable condition after surgery. Currently Scott(dad) and Sarah(mom) are staying at the hospital with Mary in Minneapolis(a 3 1/2 hour drive from home).
