On August 25, 2020, Billie Beasley suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm at her home. She was immediately taken to the hospital by ambulance where emergency, lifesaving surgery was performed to stop the bleeding in her brain. Doctors were not hopeful for a recovery, but Billie being as tough as we all know her to be, defied odds and survived. She’s since had quite a few surgeries and was sent to a rehabilitation center. ​As we tend to learn, insurance companies don’t always have their client’s best interest at heart. Billie was improving, but not enough for the insurance company. The insurance company made it clear they were sending her home and would not be covering anymore costs that Billie incurred. Billie’s family has tried numerous times to appeal to the insurance company, but she was still set to come home. She’s now been readmitted into the emergency room with an infection to her incision and will be sent home in a few days once the infection is taken care of. ​Billie is a mother, daughter, sister, wife, friend, and mentor to so many. She has a heart filled with love and she has always made an effort to show everyone she loves that she means it. We always knew Billie was a bad ass and a fighter and she’s proving it every day by being a survivor and progressing forward. ​Please help us raise money to help with Billie’s ongoing needs.
