Meet Cami, a 23 year old who has a heart of gold and is loved by many. 9 months ago Cami was a nanny, living on her own and enjoying life. One day her feet started to swell which hurt her so bad she couldn't walk which put her on crutches, out of a Job and moving back in with her mom. She started getting weaker and weaker. Didn't have the energy to get out of bed and it came to the point that sleep was an all day comfort zone. Fast foward to March of 2016, Cami goes down hill fast. Losing 66 pounds making a 5' 7" girl weigh in at 107 lbs. Doctors still don't know what is wrong and have blamed it on Lyme's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and many other things. Now it's April 29 and she starts complaining about her eye so the opthamologist checks her eyes and one isn't dilating. Her doctor tells her to go to the ER and get an MRI. At the hospital she has the MRI, blood tests, and urine samples taken to see what they can find. The MRI came back normal but the blood tests show them that Cami needs a blood transfusion now! Once you have little to no iron in your body, your body isn't able to absorb any nutrients, making sense why Cami lost so much weight. Cami is still going to need further testing to figure everything out. Insurance hasn't paid a dime and not having a job is putting Cami in a really bad financial situation. That's why we have come to you. Even if it's $5 here or there I know we can pull together and support this wonderful girl of ours. We love her and want her to be able to return to the life she loved. Thanks for all your help!
