I know Kevin would never ask for help himself, but I also know how important it is to him and how discouraged he felt when he went for a consultation and found out only a portion of his skin removal surgery could be covered by MSP.
Kevin has battled this body, fought against it for years and he finally found the will and determination to FIGHT FOR IT! He's worked his butt off over the last 6 years with Keto and exercise and has managed to lose 185 lbs! While this has proved as an ENORMOUS accomplishment in itself, the loose skin is still a constant reminder of what his body has been put through. The insecurities tied to that are still something that weigh on him daily, even now that the actual weight is long gone. No person should struggle through the pain of being trapped in their own body, especially after doing all of the hard work to become who has always been locked inside.
This is a guy who has beat obesity, he's taken his life back by showing up for himself every day and fought his way from over 400 lbs down to 215 lbs with so much hard work and so much heart while proving as a massive inspiration to so many along the way. While he is loved just the way his is by everyone near and dear to his heart, he still deserves to be able to fully embrace the body he's worked so hard to find and I know that this last little piece of the puzzle will be absolutely life changing for him. ❤
