help Brandon and jeired get adequate legal counsel

Hello everyone, I’m fundraising for my buddy patience. I don’t think I need to use his real name, most people know him! He is currently in county jail fighting a case that is much more punishment than he deserves. If you know him personally you probably know some details about his case. Like how he was woken up to the sound of Officer Gonzales searching through his vehicle, in a manner that appeared to be sneaky. like he was attempting to make sure and not wake patience up. This is not the first time Officer Gonzales has violated somebody’s rights and searched their vehicle without consent, or a warrant. I have another friend currently incarcerated in Chelan County Rejail Justice Center who was arrested in an identical fashion. He was asleep in is his vehicle, and officer Gonzales started to search through his vehicle without permission or a warrant. The thing about this second situation is, Somebody walking past my friends car was concerned that he had maybe overdosed, so they called 9-1-1 and reported a possible overdose. Gonzales and the other arresting officers disregarded my friends health and well being and had no respect for whether or not he received proper medical attention. Instead, they proceeded to rummage through his vehicle attempting to not wake him up so that they could allegedly search for incriminating evidence and essentially get him in as much legal trouble as possible. These are just two examples of the ways some of the police officers in Wenatchee harass citizens, and disregard their rights and the process of legally arresting somebody/gathering evidence against them. I brought these two examples up today because my two friends don’t have the means to pay for attorneys and get the legal help they are entitled to. Instead, they have been appointed public defenders or court appointed attorneys which are in my opinion (after dealing personally with heavy legal issues for the last 12 years) attorneys who do not work for the people they are appointed to but instead work with nothing but the district attorney’s and county prosecutor’s agenda’s in mind. They are pushy in attempts to get defendants to take plea bargains that keep them wrapped up in the legal system and paying the courts and county. Public defenders are most times unwilling to fight for the benefit of the person they are technically working for. The last plea deal that patience was offered would have him agreeing to serve the next 22 years of his life in prison. My other friend was recently offered a deal where he would need to agree to serve 10-12 years in prison. I’m not going to try and tell you that these guys are angels, I’m not going to say that I think they should get off Scott free, but both of them deserve a fighting chance to have their cases properly represented in court/trial. Instead of being represented by a Mac truck that will drive itself off the road out of spite when you aren’t easily swayed. Please donate so that these guys can have a chance at gaining a good portion of their lives back. They struggle with addiction, as do I. I don’t think it’s right that they have their lives swept out from under them when they truly are good, kind hearted people. Please donate for attorney funds so that they have a fighting chance against the corrupted system that has many people incarcerated and caged when they should be receiving help addressing childhood traumas and issues regarding mental health and self care. I have spoken to both of these individuals and they have approved the details I’ve covered about their cases and asked me to move forward with starting this GoFundMe page. Thank you for your consideration and time!
