Hey there friends, family and fellow canine animal lovers. I’m starting this page for our little Frenchie Hank who is currently 6 years old and is definitely in need of a helping paw. Myself and my girlfriend Kalah rescued Hank and Gillie (our other frenchie) a little over 2 years ago and they quickly became part of our family. They’ve been together their whole life so we kept them together and they definitely make a perfect pair and we love them very much! Recently Hank has been going through a very tough time the past 10 days with unexpected uncontrollable pain. Many trips to the vet and many different pain meds later, he still wasn’t getting any relief. So we had to bring him to the ER late last night to get him the care he needs as we couldn’t bear seeing him in constant pain any longer. After talking with doctors, it was discussed that most likely he has a slipped disk and will need surgery. Hank is currently in the ICU at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital. He is currently waiting for a MRI and most likely will head right to surgery. With ER bills already in the thousands and more expected to follow for our little guy and with no pet Insurance, I am asking for people to share this. Please...Hank is young and only 6 years old. He deserves to live a long happy tail wagging life and we will do everything it takes to take care of him. Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to help and listen to our story.
