Help Support Kim Romano

Hi everyone, I am fundraising for my new sister Kim Romano who is 28 years old, who just recently discovered she has a 8 by 10cm PEComa (perivascular epithelial cell tumor) on her left kidney with masses on her left and right ovaries and uterus. The biopsy of the PEComa is concerning that it’s cancerous hence why this procedure would be a little more complicated. Treatment requires surgical removal which because of its location near the aorta and around the left kidney vessels and left splenic artery, surgery will be a challenging all day procedure. She will unfortunately lose her left kidney and both ovaries and will have a long recovery lasting approximately 6 weeks. Thankfully her surgery will be at the end of this coming week. Since insurance doesn’t cover everything, any donations they receive will be put towards any and all medical expenses. I am asking you, if you are able, to help support this incredibly strong and amazing woman. Her and Joe are newly weds (officially) but planned to have their wedding in 2021. Therefore any support donated will greatly take the stress off her shoulders and help her focus on recovering, returning back to work, and looking forward to the big wedding day next summer!
