As you may or may not know I was in a terrible car accident on January 30th. One that most anyone would not have survived . I fell asleep at the wheel. I ran into a chain link fence and was impaled by a 1.5in diameter steel bar. It came through my front window, through my chest, my driver's seat, my rear seat and the trunk of my car. My survival and remarkably quick recovery has been described by all as nothing less than a miracle. Of course I agree.

I now have five broken ribs, a hole in my lung and an amputated finger. Not only will I not be released to work at any job for 2 months, the expectation is that it will take approximately six months to a year to completely heal.

I have used what remained of my savings to enroll in a program that has guaranteed job placement and is one that I can do at home while I heal over the next few months. I intend to be working again as soon as possible.

As you may imagine the car was totaled  and hospital bills are monumental. 

Asking for assistance is one of the hardest things that I've ever had to do. Though I'm told by a very good friend that a hand up is not the same as a handout. Just like my rescue, this is something I can't do alone.

So I thank you in advance for your support and also for your prayers and encouragement. I have no doubt that the Lord has a plan for my life and it is a very good one.
