Save a 9-month Evana heart

Dear families, friends, and kind hearts,

 

My name is Mihret Molla and I am writing this letter to request your help with a donation to save my Daughter’s life. My Daughter, Evana Anteneh Tesfaye, a 9-month-old infant, has been diagnosed with “Severe Pulmonary valve stenosis” in FEB 2022. Since then, she has been under

follow-up in Black Lion (Tikure Anbesa) hospital and Cardiac center for 6 months in her home country Ethiopia. However, no improvement was observed in fact, she had shortness of breath, irregular heartbeat, a swollen abdomen, fatigue during breastfeeding and also her physical growth is very slow and she is underweight. Due to lack of surgical materials and thousands of children waiting in line for treatment, she is unable to receive early treatment for her illness in her home country of Ethiopia. and we have been advised by doctors to await. As a Mother/parent, it is difficult for me to see my daughter's pain, so we have discussed it with specialist doctors, and the Doctors recommended going abroad to seek early treatment for her illness before it comes to a very serious problem. And then we decided to travel to India/Turkey for her treatment. However, the cost for treatments and medications including hotel rent for 3 weeks has been estimated to be around 11,000.00 USD. Through all this time, I and my relatives struggled a lot to cover her treatment and medication needs. However, we have gotten to the point where just family and I alone cannot bear all the costs required for her medical treatments. Therefore, I kindly request you to extend your support for my daughter’s heart medical treatment. Every Dollar you give takes us one step closer to meeting her treatment costs.
