James Gregory Memorial

I am April Freeman, a close friend of the family. All proceeds will go directly to Christie Norman and family to assist with James burial and any arising cost due to their loss. I want to start by thanking everyone for all the thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I know a lot of people have been asking how they could help the family. All donations will be greatly appreciated as to help with giving James the best celebration of life. I want to thank you in advance for loving this family through this trying time. We appreciate all who wish to donate. This page was set up to help Christie Norman & James Gregory during their time of loss. Thank you to all that has helped. James Lee Gregory, 24, of Peeler St, Lexington, died Friday, October 9th. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 7 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Vern Peterson. The family will receive friends following the service outside at the funeral home. James was born September 14, 1996 in Davidson County to James Steven Gregory and Christie Sanders Norman. He was an employee of Sunrise Beverage while completing a degree at Nascar Technical Institute. James had a special heart, and he constantly made himself available to anyone in need. His compassion for others was incomparable; he always took time to listen to others, make them laugh, and ultimately make them feel special. This will be his legacy in the hearts of all who knew him. James enjoyed listening to music, working out, being outdoors, and spending as much time with family and friends as possible. James was an incredible person – gone too soon – and will be missed by many. He is survived by his father of Lexington; his mother of Linwood; his brother, Seth Daniel Earnhardt of Lexington; and his sister, Megan Michelle Contreras of Waynesboro, VA.
