Abi's medical expenses

Hi. My name is Alana (Ali) Copple and I am fundraising for my daughter Abi. Abi is a young mother of a 6-year-old daughter. A little over two months ago, Abi learned she was rapidly going blind in her left eye. It has been a huge shock, and as an artist and bookworm, it is more painful for her, watching her world shrink into darkness around her. She has undergone numerous medical tests and initially, it was thought she had aggressive glaucoma. After more tests, we have more information and seem to be getting closer to a diagnosis. The doctors are now believing she has idiopathic intracranial hypertension, although she is waiting for a neurologist appointment and a suggested lumbar puncture to confirm it and the next steps, which may include surgery. Abi has had to give up her teaching job, which she loved, and is not able to function well due to severe headaches, dizziness, pressure in her head as well as loss of sight.
