For Abbigail And Ziva

Hello Everyone, Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully shed some light on this family’s ungodly struggle. On November 1st 2020, Kristen Merritt was scheduled to be induced to deliver two beautiful baby girls she shares with her husband Matthew Merritt. At around 11:00 o’clock pm on October 26th, I ( A Friend Of The Two) received a phone call that would introduce the news of what devastation they are left to face now. As the couple was driving northbound down a main road in Grand Rapids Michigan, A drunk driver from opposing traffic hit the couples Trail Blazer head on. The call I had received was in efforts to get Matthew to the hospital where he would meet his wife. After an emergency c section- The two were told both Zeva and Abbigail Would suffer from intense brain damage for the rest of their lives. Never being able to play. Never being able to talk. Never being able to walk. The two were left with a decision no parent should ever have to make. On Sunday, November 1st- the day the girls were due to be brought into this world, the family was forced to say one of their hardest goodbyes to Ziva Merritt. On November 5th, to Abbigail Merritt. PLEASE send prayers and well wishes if no funds can be given. These funds are being designated to any and all funeral related expenses and endeavors at the will of the family. Thank you!
