Hi, I am Joana from Portugal and I am organising this campaign for my friend Mahmoud Alostaz from Gaza. I know the hard times that he and his family are passing since the war started, so I suggested to start the funding. The support I hope you will give, will be transferred to his account weekly. My situation

I am Mahmoud Alostaz and I am reaching to you because I really need your help, my family needs your support.

I am 24 years old, I am married to Rula and I have a son called Zain.

I got my university degree in accounting, and I got a job before the war. We lived in northern Gaza, in Tal al-Zaatar, but because of the war, I lost my job and my home, and we have no source of income left. The ongoing war turned our lives upside down.

Just months ago, we were living a safe and happy life, then the war came and changed our lives. Our home has been completely destroyed, and with it, we have lost everything we owned, depriving us of safety, security, and the simplest requirements of life.

Every day, my family and I endure the horrors of war, displacement, and bombing. Our lives are filled with fear and uncertainty.

We are displaced in Deir al-Balah.

My wife was injured as a result of war and has to receive regular treatments. My child suffer from respiratory problems as a result of the bombing and the chemicals he was exposed to. I am responsible for my family, including my father who is heart-sick and my mother that have knee joints.

The war has destroyed us.

حصلت على شهادتي الجامعية في المحاسبة، وحصلت على وظيفة قبل الحرب. عشنا في شمال غزة، في تل الزعتر، لكن بسبب الحرب فقدت وظيفتي وبيتي، ولم يعد لدينا أي مصدر للدخل. لقد قلبت الحرب المستمرة حياتنا رأساً على عقب.

قبل أشهر فقط، كنا نعيش حياة آمنة وسعيدة، ثم جاءت الحرب وغيرت حياتنا. لقد تهدم منزلنا بالكامل، وخسرنا معه كل ما نملك، مما حرمنا من الأمن والأمان وأبسط متطلبات الحياة.

كل يوم، أعاني أنا وعائلتي من أهوال الحرب والنزوح والقصف. حياتنا مليئة بالخوف وعدم اليقين.

نحن مهجرون في دير البلح.

أصيبت زوجتي نتيجة الحرب وتلقت العديد من العلاجات. طفلي يعاني من مشاكل في الجهاز التنفسي نتيجة القصف. أنا مسؤول عن عائلتي، بما في ذلك والدي الذي يعاني من مرض القلب وأمي التي تعاني من مفاصل الركبة.

لقد دمرتنا الحرب.
