On 10/25/2020, 26 y/o Cory Moses was struck by a BMW X5 with no plates around 1:00 pm in front of 1767 Fulton Street. The driver ran him over and a black woman got out of the passengers side, told onlookers to call 911 and then got back in the car which sped off. Cory sustained serious spinal injuries as well as an arm that is broken in 2 places and will need high-risk surgery to help stabilize his spine and reset his arm. The path to recovery will be long and expensive as Cory heals physically and mentally. This GoFundMe has been started to help pay for the costs associated with his injuries and expenses associated with recovery and care for him as he heals. Any donation, no matter how large or small is appreciated in helping ease this hardship as we help Cory return to health. Cory is expected to go in for spinal surgery on the morning of 10/26.
