Samia's Supporters

Ms. Samia has been a part of the Winwood family since May 2002! She began her career with Winwood at the Fairfax location as a Preschool 3 teacher. After some time as a Curriculum Coordinator for all of our location Ms. Samia returned to the Fairfax location as the Jr. Kindergarten teacher.

Ms. Samia has been recently diagnosed with Lyme Disease. She is in the beginning process of learning how advance the disease is and her treatment options. Currently the disease is affecting her in all aspects of her day to day tasks but most depilating is how it is affecting her mobility.

We have all been in shock with this news but our families and teachers have shown immeasurable amounts of support already, for which I am grateful! As the news has been shared, most of you are wondering what you can do to help Samia and her family through this trying time. We are starting with this GoFundMe page as a way to help provide Samia and her family with the items they will need like groceries, meals, and paying some of the medical bills.
