This isn’t something we ever imagined we’d need to do, but this year has already brought some unexpected challenges. The house needed foundation work due to plumbing issues, and it turned out that all the cast-iron pipes had to be replaced. While there were 8 ft trenches and tunnels under the house, my partner was laid off without warning.

Medicine and medical specialists run about $1800 a month, not to mention that we need to replace our insurance when the coverage runs out at the end of this month. Between appointments, bills, and the sudden loss of income, we’re finding ourselves in a place where we need a little help to make it through.

We’re working hard to move forward, but right now we could use the support of our community.
