Hello This is a Fundraiser for my Mom Martha Pecina.Last week she had a hemorrhagic stroke which caused her to have a bleed in her brain and since has had several complications.Since then the doctors have told us they could not do anything for her anymore and basically My brother,Dad,and I had to make a decision to take her off of the machines and let her pass, or for them to put a trake in her throat, colonoscopy bag in her stomach, and she would be in coma or unable to function the rest of her life.We felt that she was still fighting and we couldnt lose hope or give up on her just like that.We decided to have the trake and colonoscopy bag put in.Since then My Mom has opened her eyes and had some movement on her left side.The doctors told us she wouldnt be able to open her eyes anymore because that part of her brain was damaged from the bleed.Thank you to everybody who has prayed for her and who is still praying for her.She is strong and is still fighting her hardest to be here with us.This has given us even more hope and faith than before.But this is the first step to a long road of recovery ahead.My mom does not have medical insurance and got denied for medicaid .I also tried to get her insurance through the markeplace and was told from several different companies that they will not cover her due to all of her pre -exsisting conditions and medicaid will not be able to enroll her until Jan 1,2021.Because she is only 64.She is going to need special care and they will not send her to a care facility or a rehabilitation center without insurance.So we are going to have to pay for everything out of pocket.If you are able to donate to help my mom out with her future medical care.It would really mean the world to my mom and my family.But if you cant, we understand too.Im just asking everybody to keep praying for her.The power of prayer is amazing and has helped her come a long way and get this far.Thank you so much in advance...We love you and May God Bless each and everyone of you .....Love The Pecina family
