Sensory Touch is in desperate need of help.
we are a multi sensory environment in Southport set up to help children and adults of all ages with all abilities including learning disabilities to have sensory sessions.
after suffering many tragic events and hardships we desperately need funds to conduct repairs to the centre and building.
We also really want to finish our new rooms the Forest Room (a 3D wonderland of tactile trees and wishing wells and toadstool seating with a wealth of visual and tactile treats as well as smells and noises for the complete sensory woodland experience whilst you eat and play).
and the updated cosmic room (with a new heated water bed and bubble wall)
and also expand our main white room to contain a swing and miniature ball pool and slide for younger children. Also divide able so as younger children can have their own space.
we also want to enhance reception and make the centre more wheelchair accessible.
In Addition we also want to create personalised sessions. and become tac pac accredited and have sensory diets and snacks for our customers. More art and music workshops as well as baby yoga and baby sign etc. Continue from us as well as the amazing sing and sign that currently also use our premises.
It would mean so much to us as we are a small no-profit family business. We have invested so much over the past 6 years and it would also mean so much to the people that use the centre.
