Dear Friends of Ali and Bridger,
As you may already know, Ali and Bridger are going through a difficult time right now. Last week, Bridger went to the ER because the right side of his body wasn't responding as well as it should and he had what he described as "the worst headache of my life". CT scans showed a mass in his brain that was causing swelling and bleeding of the brain. He was then rushed to UC San Francisco for further care where Ali and Bridger have been ever since. Bridger underwent surgery to remove the mass but unfortunately doctors were unable to remove all of it for fear of removing brain cells. Doctors still don't know what's going on or what's causing all of this, (They strongly suspect a tumor, although type, grade and aggressiveness are still yet to be determined) and there is still a long road ahead of him/them. A lot remains uncertain, but what is certain is the expenses are starting to mount up. Not even counting medical expenses (Which aren't known at this time. He does have government mandated health insurance but there will be copays.) the lodging, food and living expenses of Ali having to remain in San Francisco are a huge burden on them. If you are in any way able to give for lodging, food, living and future medical expenses, it would be immensely appreciated by Ali, Bridger and their family. Thank you very much.
